File Share & User Library

The User Library provides HUG members with a means of sharing files through a secure area of the HUG site.

NOTICE: Use of material in the User Library is strictly on a "use at your own risk" basis. Neither HUG, SunGard Public Sector, or the supplying parties offer any guarantee of support or usability of the material. While HUG will attempt to review the documents to verify they are appropriate in nature, HUG cannot make any promise regarding the outcome of using the files.

Interested in downloading a file?
The files are available through: The User Library Documents.

  • Double click on the document name that you are interested
  • Download the file to your hard drive
  • They files are 'zipped' and will have to be unzipped before you can do anything.
  • Additonal information is available on the Query or AS/400 File Exchange information page (.doc).

Interested in adding a file to User Library?
If you have a QREP definition, Query definition, a policy or practice, or even a program that you think other HUG members could benefit from, please e-mail the file, along with the descriptive information requested at the Document Submission page, to webmaster@HUGInc.org.

A HUG member will review your submission to verify that the material is appropriate for posting in the User Library.

Results
Of course, some QREP and Query definitions may not produce the same results on other systems because of differences in data and code tables, but they can serve as patterns that can be modified to fit the needs of another site while saving a great deal of time as compared to starting from scratch. If you try to run a QREP definition that was created using another catalog, the program generally gives warnings, but if you say "OK" and/or select your own catalog, they tend to go ahead and run. Try it!

Please share some of your accomplishments. Who knows, maybe something that someone else posts will solve the problem you have been struggling with.

The more we share, the more everyone benefits!
